Weetabix Chocolate Nests

These quick treats are perfect for Easter, little hands can make these in a couple of minutes and proudly share them around with their family and friends. I used weetabix but these can be made with any breakfast cereals in your cupboard. I also have two other Weetabix recipes (Brownies and Chocolate Chip cookies!!) recipes too

Serves 4-6

4  Full size Weetabix (roughly 75g) crushed
140g Milk chocolate, melted
Sugar coated chocolate eggs
12-14 Bun cases

In a deep bowl, add the crushed weetabix to the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly.

Then spoon the mixture into paper bun cases and shape into a nest shape, add the chocolate eggs (saves the eggs falling out later),chill for 1 hour and serve.

  1. Clear and straightforward instructions.
Lovely pics too.Would have liked an approximate weight stated for '4 weetabix' as only had mini weetabix.
    Best wishes.DD

  2. I'm glad you enjoyed the recipe. There is about 70 - 80g of weetabix in the recipe. Hope this helps. Lisa

  3. Delicious! Me & my 4 yr old daughter made them today! We used choc weetabix too ;) x

  4. Nicola,
Thank you for your very kind comment, aren't these perfect for little hands, my 5yo son was my teacher for making these nests!
