Knitted Pumpkin Free Pattern

If you have knitted the Ghosties that I posted last year ago and you are looking for a new project then you might be interested in this pattern.

I took inspiration from the renowned Jean Greehowe and decided that I could adapt her pattern slightly to make tiny pumpkins.

Easy Hallowe'en Cake

My daughter decided that this Monster Eye Cake from The Cake Blog would be the perfect cake for a recent school project. It was in keeping with the time of year and a cake that she could make with a little help from me! :)

Zombie Brains Cupcakes

Oh how I love Hallowe'en! It's the autumnal colours (lots of deciduous trees around our house) and the crisp foggy days with cool nights in front of a roaring fire.
Now added to all of this is a bit of fun, what better than a plateful of Zombie Brain Cupcake, fuelling the ghoulish theme of a Hallowe'en party! These are a basic cupcake recipe with the addition of vanilla buttercream but with a little imagination you have a horror filled treat that's fun for all the family!

Ghost Cupcakes

A couple of years ago I posted a spooktacular Graveyard Cake which was a huge success, not alone was it the centrepiece of our Hallowe'en party but when I made one to bring to a friends party they loved it too! 

This year I thought I would make these cute ghost cupcakes, they are such fun! It seemed to us that each of them had their own individual personality :)

Hallowe'en is one of my favourite times of the year, my children love it too, they love dressing up, carving pumpkins and listening to spooky stories. How about a little bank holiday baking? These cupcakes are a all in one mixing bowl recipe then bake them and then decorate them anyway you like. So easy that even little hands can help. 

Halloween Graveyard Cake

I think that our Hallowe'en party is going to be extra special this year, how could it fail with this spook-tacular cake as it's centerpiece! There is nothing better than a chocolate cake covered in even more chocolate and decorated with crushed Oreos - devilishly good!
